Mount Fuji, the iconic symbol of Japan, is a captivating destination for a school trip. Its majesty and cultural significance make it the perfect setting for an unforgettable educational adventure. On July 26th, the students of SNG Tokyo had the opportunity to embark on a trip to finally explore it.

Departure from School:
The day begins early with a departure from school to Mount Fuji. Students are greeted by their guides near the school, in front of the buses ready to take them through the breathtaking landscapes of the region.

Arrival at the Fujisan History Museum:
The first stop on the visit is the Fujisan History Museum, located near the base of the mountain. This museum features interactive exhibits on the geology of Mount Fuji. Students learn about the volcanic origins of the mountain, its unique ecosystem, and the history of the Fuji region.

The Mythical Village of Oshino Hakkai:
Oshino Hakkai is a charming Japanese village situated at the foot of Mount Fuji, known for its eight pure spring waters fed by the melting snow of the volcano and its traditional thatched-roof houses. Oshino Hakkai provided the students with an authentic glimpse into the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region.

5th Station of Mount Fuji:
At an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters, students explored the natural wonders and facilities of the station, including information centers and shops.

Return to School:

The day concludes with a bus ride back to school, filled with memories and new knowledge. Students leave with a deeper understanding of the geology, culture, and environmental significance of Mount Fuji.

This school trip to Mount Fuji was more than just a tourist visit. It was an educational adventure that combined nature exploration, cultural learning, and enriching activities. For the students, it was an opportunity to connect with the history and natural beauty of Japan.
