November 5 is “Japanese Language Day”

November 5 is “Japanese Language Day.”

This day was established by Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute, inspired by the play on words “11 (nihon no bō)” and “5 (go).”
It is also registered with the Japan Anniversary Association and recognized as an official commemorative day.

This year, the Tourism Business Class organized a food event. Students were divided into groups and prepared a variety of dishes.

A colorful array of snacks such as QQ balls, tapioca drinks, sandwiches, and soup sets lined the tables. The delicious aromas attracted students and teachers from other classes, and during break time, long lines formed in front of the booths.

Teachers expressed their surprise and admiration for the high quality of the dishes.

Through this event, the students had a great opportunity to learn about the importance of teamwork and the spirit of hospitality.
It was a very enjoyable “Japanese Language Day,” filled with smiles and delicious scents.
