Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute has arranged several partnerships with accomodation providers in order to offer international students various housing options near the Shinjuku district and Takadanobaba neighborhood, where our school buildings are located.

Apartments, dormitories, single rooms, twin rooms or share houses are available. Some of these options will allow you to practice the language by living with Japanese students. Others will allow you to share everyday life with a Japanese family. Many different possibilities to suit your needs and priorities.

Sharehouse managed by SNG, 2-person (type 1) or 3-person (type 2). Located in a quiet area with nearby supermarket, fitness gym and a sento public bath.

Homestay in Japan
There are about 6,700 host families in Japan (as of November 2023). Those who want to get to know the culture and customs of Japan and see the everyday life of Japanese families can put our Japanese Language lessons into practice! Dormitory
Kyoritsu International Foundation
Kyoritsu International Foundation manages several student dormitories with shared facilities. Residents are provided with breakfast and dinner on weekdays except holidays. Staffed with on-site manager. Curfew may apply depending on the facility. A・B type and D・C type rooms available.

Dormitory for Japanese and international students. 108 rooms with on-site staff available Monday to Saturday. Located close to a library, police box, convenience store and supermarket. The building is adjacent to a Japanese kindergarten. The area hosts numerous events. 10 min by train to Ikebukuro.
